Taste Of The Grape is run by lovers of good wine. We're all qualified professionals, and come from a variety of backgrounds that lend variety and colour to what we do. We run tastings, parties and events that entertain as much as educate, and believe that even though there's a lot to know about wine, it should be fun to learn about it, and most of all a pleasure to drink it. So - no lectures, plenty of entertainment, exciting wines, and a real sense of satisfaction.
About the founder
Before embarking on a career in wine, Michael Reynolds has been an actor, musician, restaurant reviewer, festival director, and lecturer amongst other things. But having visited vineyards and winemakers all over the world his interest in wine grew to the point where he decided he just had to earn a living out of it.
Fully WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) qualified, and an Associate Judge on the International Wine And Spirits Competition, Michael has extensive first-hand knowledge of countless wines and wine styles. The founder of Taste Of The Grape, and a wine consultant to various other companies, Michael thoroughly enjoys sharing his knowledge and wine discoveries with great enthusiasm, both in writing wine columns, hosting wine tastings, and leading wine tours to Bordeaux and Burgundy with Cox & Kings Travel. His events are as entertaining as they are informative, with many clients coming back for more. Wine is to be enjoyed after all!
