About us

"Do you provide everything for the tasting?"

Yes, we bring everything needed, from spotless, professional tasting glasses, through to blind bags, drop stops, tasting notes and all the necessary bits and pieces. You don't need to set up, clear up, or wash up anything.

"Will it be like a lecture?"

Definitely not! Our wine tastings are really entertaining as well as informative. There's always a lot of laughter as people pit their wits against everyone else, and indulge in great wines. It's all pretty interactive.

"How long do the tastings last?"

Up to about 2 hours, but we can make it shorter (or longer) if you like. Whatever fits in with your plans.

"Where can I have a wine tasting?"

Wherever you like - we do them anywhere. At your home, a restaurant, hotel, office, boat, garden - the choice is yours. The important thing is, we come to you.

"How many people can attend?"

Anything from 10 upwards. Large corporate functions of 100 or more are no problem, though we often have groups of between 25-50. Private parties tend to be anything between 10 and 50 people - you can have fewer present, but we have to charge for minimum 10.

"Do you sell wine?"

No we don't, but we can advise on where to buy if you like. We certainly don't try and pressure anyone into buying wine, we just specialise in the tasting and the entertainment.

"How much does it all cost?"

Prices range from £20 - £40 per head, depending on wines and numbers. We'll always try to accommodate you and fit into your budget, so give us a call or email us and we'll see what we can sort out.

"What are your wines like?"

We make a point of sourcing really good wines, often from small producers, passionate about their wines. This means we have to go to a lot of trade tastings and vineyards, but someone's got to do it......

"Very friendly, professional, and well-organised. I particularly liked the bits about matching wine with food, but overall it was very entertaining as well as informative. Keep up the good work!" (Harry. Dulwich, London 2007)
