Champagne vs sparkling wine
Eg: 1 vintage champagne, 1 NV champagne, 1 rose champagne, 4 sparkling wines from different countries.
Many sparkling wines from around the world are made in exactly the same way as champagne, some with the same grapes. But prices differ enormously, as do styles. Can you tell the difference? Which do you prefer?
Learn all about how these wines are made, test your taste buds, and have a really sparkling (sorry) time! There'll be blind challenges, aroma games, and quizzes to liven things up as well. For a little extra per head we can add in Bellinis, champagne cocktails, strawberries, chocolate.....
Old World vs New World
4 whites, 4 reds, and a fortified wine.
Same grapes, different styles - how do they compare? Traditional winemaking vs modern methods, and how one is influencing the other. Or we can do just Old or just New if you prefer, the choice is yours. Whichever you decide on there'll be plenty of the usual challenges and entertainment to keep things lively!
The Fine Wine Selection
Treat yourselves to a fine wine experience. Vintage champagne, three whites, three reds, and a fortified wine - all of superb quality. Savour them, taste some blind, investigate their provenance, and be entertained. An extravagant, but special occasion.
Italian Wine (or anywhere else)
We love Italian wine, and have a great selection lined up for this one. If you're not convinced about wines from Italy, or if you love them, you should give this a try - you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, if you've got a special interest in some other region - Spain, The Americas, Down Under, whatever you fancy really, then let us know. Blind tastings, aroma challenges and so on are all included!
